It has been tres chaud (very hot), 34 yesterday and about the same today and really we are sort of marking time until we move to our permanent address in Sant Albans de Varese, now on Saturday morning.
But we did venture into Vienne (not Vienna) which is an ancient town involved in many conflicts and overruns by everybody going back milleniums. We had lunch at a sidewalk cafe and visited the Tourist Bureau and armed ourselves with maps, brochures, festival dates and all other touristy information things which are vital to find the food and wines the Isere region is famous for.
BTW we are driving a brand new Citroen DS3, sports version, diesel and automatic and it's a little ripper. Very smooth, comfortable for a small car, fast and economical. When we picked it up it only had 3 kms on the clock and indication that it would go 150kms before filling up required. When we did fill after 75 kms driving it had 176 kms to go. It makes fuel.
